The Eagles

The Eagles were a great 70's rock band who produced singles such as "Take It Easy", "Hotel California", "Desperado", and lots more. They formed in 1971 and until 1980 they released 6 albums together. In 1980 the band members were all frustrated with each other and after just 9 years the band split up. All the band members gave solo music a shot after the break, and Don Henley was the most successful solo releasing songs like "In A New York Minute". Don Henley repeatedly insisted that the band wouldn't get back together until hell freezes over, but 14 years later in 1994 the Eagles reunited releasing the live album "Hell Freezes Over". Don Henley and Glenn Frey, both vocalists and various other instruments were in the band 1971-1980, 1994-present, Joe Walsh replaced Bernie Leadon in 1975, and has been there 1975-1980, 1994-present, Timothy Schmit replaced Randy Meisner on bass in 1977, he has been there 1977-1980, 1994-present, and Don Felder was in the band 1971-1980, 1994-2001. Felder turned on the band in 2001 after they had to let him go. He had been giving the band a hard time and when he released from the band he sued them claiming with charges of wrongful termination, breach of implied-in-fact contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. He claimed Glenn Frey, and Don Henley were taking to much profit for themselves. "Hole In The World" and "Long Road Out Of Eden" would later be released as well as multiple greatest hits albums. The band is currently preparing for a 2012 tour later this year.
